Wilson students earn President's Awards during assembly

Several students at Woodrow Wilson Elementary received President's Education Awards during the school's Fifth Grade Farewell Assembly on May 25 in the auditorium.

Below is a list of the Wilson fifth-graders who were honored with a President's Award, all of which came with a personally signed letter of congratulations from President George W. Bush.

President's Award for Educational Achievement – Silver Seal on Certificate signifying B average throughout elementary school:

Cade Allen, Emily Freeman, Shelby Phelps, Tori Toth, Kevin Austin, Adrian Gabby, Skyler Scullawl, Chase Wright, Jordan Ellwood, Brian Gordan, Phoenix Sheikh, Chad Feltner, Jessica Montanez and Morgan Stefanopoulos.

President's Award for Educational Excellence – Golden Seal on Certificate signifying at least an A- average throughout elementary years:

Grace Boughner, Hannah Divelbiss, Brianna Greenhalgh, Stephen Phillippe, Kaitlin Bullick, Adam Frankamp, Ali Gutc, Nuvia Piedra, Heather Carter, Alicia Grass, Cole Hammond, Hailee Sullivan, Cydnee Combrink, Tisa Green and Adam Lawless.

President's Lapel Pin Award for 4.0 average throughout elementary school plus Advanced Level Performance on Oklahoma Core Curriculum Test:

Heather Carter, Tisa Green, Adam Lawless, Hannah Divelbiss, Brianna Greenhalgh, Stephen Phillippe and Adam Frankamp.
