Oak Park Elementary

Oak Park has the smallest class size enrollment of any public school in Bartlesville. With an average enrollment of 250 students, every student is known by name. Our school is located in the middle of the Oak Park neighborhood, and the vast majority of our students walk to and from school each day. Only one bus brings a few students from “the country!”  In this very personalized learning environment, the efforts of our highly dedicated teachers and staff are directed toward helping each student feel cared-for, connected, and capable.

Our school is happy to provide full day Pre K and full day Kindergarten programs onsite. Our early learning programs as well as grades one through five develop pre reading and reading skills using Success for All (SFA) method. As an SFA school, we are committed to implementing strategies designed to reach every single student, and we are dedicated to providing the full array of supports that will help every child reach his or her full potential. Our mission is for every child to read on grade level by third grade with no regressions thereafter.

We are pleased to offer art, music and physical education as a part of our program that is designed to educate the whole child. A wide variety of in-school and after-school tutoring programs support our students’ learning. Parents are able to take advantage of before and after school extended care programs. Each Friday at 2:45 all students and staff gather for a Great Expectations assembly at which students showcase skits and skills, and we recognize the many individual accomplishments of the week.
