Dr. Gary W. Quinn has served as Bartlesville Public Schools Superintendent of Schools since 1999.
Having recently completed his 33rd year of full-time work in the field of education, he continues his passion for providing the best possible learning environment for children. Dr. Quinn has taught and coached students at the middle school, high school and college levels in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. His coaching experience includes several high school and college teams in track, football and basketball. He was named a coach in Northeast Oklahoma All-Star football game and the NAIA District 10 College Track Coach of the Year.
Dr. Quinn has 21 years of administrative experience, ser-ving as an assistant dean of students on the college level, junior high and high school assistant principal, middle school principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent.
Dr. Quinn earned his bachelor's of science degree in education and his master's of education degree in secondary education administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. He earned his doctorate of education degree in educational administration from Oklahoma State University.
He is active in numerous community and professional organizations including Rotary International, the American Association of School Administrators, the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators and the Cooperative Council of School Administrators. Rotary International recently honored Dr. Quinn as a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a former member of the Bartlesville Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors as well.
He and his wife Julia are the proud parents of three sons, each of whom are Bartlesville High School graduates who are currently enrolled in college.
