I graduated from Dewey High School and attended college at Oklahoma Wesleyan University (formerly Bartlesville Wesleyan College). I graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1978. I began teaching in Dewey, Oklahoma at Lincoln Elementary in a third grade position. That next year I married Victor Jones, a local builder in the Bartlesville area. During my fourth year of teaching there I retired to stop and be mother to first, my daughter Kaitlin and subsequently my son Logan. I came out of retirement in 2000-2001 to be a second grade aide at Ranch Heights Elementary. The following year I took a fifth grade teaching position at Hoover Elementary and remained there till May 2010. I represented Hoover as their teacher of the year during that final year. I also celebrated my 25^th wedding anniversary. I am currently happily teaching fifth grade at Wilson Elementary.

I grew up in Broken Arrow, Ok and graduated from high school in 1987. I went on to the University of Oklahoma where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. After working for a local company in Tulsa for many years, I went back to Northeastern State University and earned my teaching certificate. I taught 4^th grade in Texas for several years and then moved back to Oklahoma and began teaching 5^th grade in Bartlesville.

My husband, Ron, and I have a beautiful daughter named Grace. We enjoy doing many things together as a family.
