Hello! My name is Joy Galloway. This
is my 11th year with the Bartlesville School District. I
worked at Oak Park for three years teaching Pre-K before moving to
Wilson to teach Kindergarten. After graduating from the University
of Central Oklahoma I taught kindergarten for three years. I taught
one year in Kansas and two years in the Oklahoma City area. My
husband and I then moved to Canada where we lived for one year.
After our year in Canada we moved to Germany for four years. My
daughter Kristin was born the year we left Germany and moved to
Singapore where we lived for three years. After that time we moved
to Texas and lived there several years before moving back to
Oklahoma. I now have a five year old granddaughter named Gracie
Marie Perry, which is the light of my life. I love teaching
kindergarten and hope to do so for many more years. I live on a 2
and ½ acre lot where I spend a lot of my free time raising chickens.
My grandmother loved chickens and I guess I developed a love for
them myself. I love to spend time with my mother, father, sister,
daughter, granddaughter, my aunt Joy and many wonderful friends in
Bartlesville. I was born and raised here so it was like coming home
when we moved back. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching many wonderful
children and getting to know their parents. I feel very blessed and
grateful for the many wonderful experiences I’ve had in my life.
