As an early childhood professional for
31 years I have been the director for a faith based child care
program. I have also owned and directed my own child care center.
I have been a vocational child care instructor, an adjunct professor
in early childhood for both Oral Roberts University and Northeastern
A & M College. I have worked as a parent educator for the Parents

In addition to teaching Pre-K I also

Mrs. Julie Silva
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1997, with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I have worked with a wide variety of ages, from birth to eighteen;
but, I strongly believe that my “home” is in Early Childhood. For
two years, I taught Pre-Kindergarten at Roosevelt Elementary School
in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Then, for the past 6 years, I taught
Kindergarten for Bartlesville Public Schools…1 at Wayside and 5 here
at Wilson. This year, I embarked on a new adventure and joined our
AWESOME SECOND GRADE TEAM! I absolutely LOVE the staff, parents and
children here at Wilson Elementary School!
I am the proud mother of four FANTABULOUS kids: Katie, 12; Annie, 9
1/2; Baron, 4; and Tatum, 3. They are my pride and joy!
