I am Angie Linthacum and I’ve been teaching for 17 years.  I was born and raised in Bethany, Missouri.  After graduating high school, I attended the University of Missouri – Columbia for 2 ˝ years.  I then got married to my husband, Joe and moved to Houston, Texas.  I received my Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Houston.  I am a certified Gifted and Talented teacher, English as a Second Language teacher, Elementary Education teacher, and a Reading Specialist.  I am currently working on my master’s of administration degree and will graduate from OKWU in March 2011.

I am currently the 3rd grade – 5th grade Reading and Math Facilitator for our building.  I find it very rewarding to be a part of making the students independent and successful mathematical thinkers and readers.

I have 2 very precious boys.  Austin is 12 years old and Tyler is 10 years old.  They keep me very busy with all of the sporting events.  Austin and Tyler make my job as a Mom very rewarding.

This is my 15th year of teaching, and my 6th year at Wilson Elementary.  I taught fifth grade for two years and this is my fourth year as a Title I Reading Teacher.

I am married to Bruce and we have enjoyed over 30 years together.  We have been blessed with two sons, Joey and John, who have grown to be truly remarkable young men.  We have two grandchildren that we enjoy spoiling.  My husband and I love spending as much time as we can at the lake.

I enjoy working with your children and helping them be the best they can be!

Ms. Monta Reynolds

Reading Specialist

National Board Certified Teacher

Email: Mrs. Reynolds

I have had the honor and privilege of touching the lives of children for over twenty years.  I taught first grade for thirteen years at Kane Elementary and four years in second grade at Wilson.  I am currently a Wilson Reading Specialist.  Throughout my career, the most rewarding aspect of teaching has been watching my students embark on the world of reading.  It is a joy to observe a child as he or she grows into a flourishing reader.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Reading, and I hold a National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood/Literacy:  Reading-Language Arts.

Mrs. Rosemary Webb

Reading Specialist

Email: Mrs. Webb

Mrs. Webb's Webpage

My name is Rosemary Webb, and this is my third year to be a teacher at Wilson.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.  I taught as a classroom teacher for seven years.  I then took time off to raise our children.  I returned to teaching via substitute teaching, and, to my good fortune, was added to the staff at Wilson as a Title/Reading teacher.

I am married to Don, and we have two grown children—Lesley and Blake.  Lesley is married, and she and her husband farm and ranch in and around Enid.  She is a multi-housing specialist for the USDA in Enid.  Our son Blake lives in Sand Springs where he works in marketing and promotions for a casino.  Having been diagnosed at the age of nine with Type I Diabetes, he has a heroic personality and meets the challenge of being diabetic everyday of his life.

It is a privilege to work with your children at Wilson, and it is rewarding to see our students make strides in their reading skills.  My goal for each of the students with whom I work is to help build a framework of skills to increase their word recognition, comprehension, and fluency.

Ms. Jodi Bottenfield

Email: Ms. Bottenfield

Hi, my name is Jodi Bottenfield and I am a part-time first grade teacher/reading teacher.  I was born and raised in Bartlesville, graduating from Bartlesville High School in 2004.  I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Oklahoma in December 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I am also certified to teach Early Childhood.

This is my first year teaching, and I am extremely happy to be a Wilson Wildcat.  I attended Wilson as a child (kindergarten-5th) and I am eager to inspire children the way that teachers here inspired me.  I enjoy working with your children on their reading skills, and it is very rewarding to me to watch their excitement when they figure something out.  I truly love my job!!!
