I graduated from
Oklahoma State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Early
Childhood Education in 1992, and an endorsement in Elementary
Education in 1993. I earned National Board Certification in 2009.
I started teaching Kindergarten in a private Learning Center in
Norman in 1995. I have been teaching in the public school setting
since 1999. I taught 2nd and 3rd grades for 4 years in Ponca City.
Here in Bartlesville I've had the opportunity to teach at two
schools and two grade levels (3rd and 4th) since 2003.
I live here in Bartlesville with my husband and my two children,
Christian and Melanie.
I am originally from the state of
Michigan, where I lived until I went to college. I graduated from
Central College in Pella, IA with a degree in Elementary Education
and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education in 2005.
After teaching in a preschool in
Michigan for 2 years, I was married in 2007, moved to Oklahoma, and
taught first and second grades in Nowata from 2007 to 2010. I am
excited to continue my teaching career here at Wilson Elementary.
I live here in Bartlesville with my
husband, our two cats, and a ferret.
I have degrees in
Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Oklahoma Baptist
University. Before coming to Wilson, I taught Kindergarten for
four years in Moore, OK.
